Overview
With the C1 visa, you may visit Indonesia for tourism, personal development, or to learn about unique tourist attractions, as well as travel by cruise ship. You may also attend meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions, participate in discussions, negotiations, or sign business agreements at offices, factories, or production sites. Field visits to offices, factories, production sites, investment locations, or mining sites are permitted, as are activities related to medical matters.
The visa is valid for a single entry with an initial stay of up to 60 days from the date of arrival. The stay permit can be extended several times up to a maximum of 180 days. Extensions can be processed online via a registered account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id. The visa can also be converted to a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS).
The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. If not used within this period, a new application is required. The validity of the visa is different from the permitted stay period.
No sponsor is required unless the applicant is stateless, holds a non-national travel document, or is a citizen of certain listed countries. In those cases, a sponsor is required.
Applicants must create an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id and submit the application online with the required electronic documents. Processing time is five working days after payment is received, whether applying at an Indonesian mission or at the Directorate General of Immigration.
Foreigners holding this visa are prohibited from selling goods or services, receiving compensation, wages, or similar payments from individuals or corporations in Indonesia, and from being a speaker at events.
Special requirements apply to stateless persons and holders of non-national travel documents, who must provide a re-entry permit to the country where the visa is applied for and a return or onward ticket (except for crew members).

What we need from you
- Valid travel document (passport) with at least 6 months validity remaining
- For non-national travel documents (emergency passport, identity certificate, etc.), at least 12 months validity
- Proof of living expenses for the stay in Indonesia: bank statement for the last 3 months in the applicant's or sponsor's name, minimum USD 2000 or equivalent
- Recent color photograph (within the last year)
- For stateless persons or holders of non-national travel documents: re-entry permit to the country where the visa is applied for and return/onward ticket (except for crew members)
