Overview
The B1 Visa on Arrival is available to citizens of countries subject to Indonesia's Visa on Arrival policy. It is valid for a single entry and grants an initial stay of up to 30 days from the date of arrival. The stay can be extended once, for a total maximum stay of 60 days. Holders of the electronic version (e-VoA) can apply and extend online, while holders of the non-electronic version must extend at the nearest immigration office.
The visa can be obtained by applying online before arrival or at the airport/port upon arrival. Payment for the e-VoA is made digitally by debit/credit card, while payment for the non-electronic version is made at designated bank counters at immigration checkpoints. The e-VoA is valid for 90 days from issuance and must be used within this period; otherwise, a new application is required. Non-electronic VoA is used immediately upon issuance.
Applicants do not require a sponsor or guarantor. Holders of temporary or emergency passports are eligible, but those with other travel documents such as titre du voyage, certificate of identity, or laissez passer are not eligible. Holders of this visa are prohibited from selling goods or services or receiving compensation, wages, or similar payments from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.
